Honey Boo Boo was a popular costume for Halloween this year amongst celebrities and die hard reality tv fans!  But Alana aka “Honey Boo Boo” had to come up with something of her own, how about a pirate costume?  Her costume appears to be a modern update to the traditional pirate costume, with a little beauty queen flair!  Alana also put on a matching pink and black wig and carried a purple pumpkin candy carrier.

She had a wonderful time eating lollipops, which are her favorite candy, according to TMZ.com

Celebrities like Paris Hilton and Miranda Lambert both wore Honey Boo Boo costumes, reported Us Weekly. Both celebrities wore pink dresses and tiaras, and we believe Miranda definitely took the award for the most realistic impersonation of Honey Boo Boo.

Paris Hilton even tweeted this:  “How do you like my Honey Boo Boo Halloween costume?” on Wednesday.

The TLC reality star and hilarious stage mom of Honey Boo Boo, June Shannon,  scoffed at reports her family makes a measly $4,000 per episode,  we make way more than $4,000 an episode,  she wouldn’t specify an exact amount, but said, “We’re very well compensated.
When TMZ.com spoke with June … after a report claimed the family was making between $2k and $4K an episode — a figure than seems small given 3 million people are hooked on “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”  June laughed out loud at the report saying it was wrong, making it clear her family is raking in a good deal more, though she would not be specific.

June said as far as she’s concerned, “We’re making memories to last a lifetime.”

It looks like she’s also making enough money to put Honey Boo Boo through college beauty school.

Update:  According to recent news sources the family is now being paid a salary of $50,000 per episode, and Alana Thompson’s own net worth is estimated to be $300,000.
