According to new sources from RealityTea.com all the Real Housewives of New Jersey earn the same per season salaries.  “All 5 RHONJ cast members, Teresa, Melissa, Caroline, Jacqueline and Kathy made the same amount this season: $600k. That wasn’t always the case but for season 5 they are all on the same salary.”

The season’s extras make considerably less, as do first season housewives. “Kim D DePaola, as a friend of the Housewives is getting $40k, last year she got $20k,” the source reveals. “Jennifer Dalton got hardly anything (less than Kim D) and Penny Karagiorgis got nothing from Bravo.”

RHONJ star Teresa Giudice also makes a nice income outside of her season earnings with her hair care line and cook books  According to the same sources, “The book advance is the only other real income Teresa gets, which is between $200 – $250k per book now minus agent fees and her co-author Heather’s (Teresa’s co-author) fees.”

On April 2nd Bravo announced when we can expect the 5th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.  The new season is expected to premiere on Sunday, June 2nd at 8 p.m. ET.

After one month of voting, fans of reality TV star Teresa Giudice will finally learn the name of her new product line.

Giudice, best known for her role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and most recently The Celebrity Apprentice, has been working with Long Island hair care professional, Jerel James Sabella to launch a hair care line which is said to “nourish, repair and protect hair from damage caused by heat-styling tools”.  The mother of four girls turned to her friend Jerel after she became frustrated by the damage caused to her hair by the endless hours of styling on the set of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.  The call came at the perfect time as Jerel had been formulating a hair care system to help women with problems just like Teresa’s.

Teresa released this statement on her website:

“Thank you to all my fans that voted for a name.  We got thousands of votes!  AMAZING! It was a very close race right up to the end, but only one name won!”

Fans were asked to select their favorite name at www.creategreathair.com – a website set up specifically for the poll.  Thousands voted with choices including:  Diamante, The Star Treatment, Teresa G, Milania & Gia.  Although many have tried to guess what the winning name is, neither Teresa nor Jerel will “let the cat out of the bag” until Wednesday, July 18 when the new website will be unveiled and the star will make big announcement to her 500K+ Twitter followers.  If her triumphs as a reality TV star and New York Times best-selling author are anything to go by, we know this hair care line will be a smashing success & women all over the country will be lining up to get hair just like their favorite housewife.

Update:

Teresa announced the winning name on her Twitter:  “OK….The winning name was….. MILANIA!” The reality star then wrote: “Look at the new website. I love it! http://www.milaniahaircare.com
